I'm at a hostel called the 3 ducks which happens to be 1 block south of the eiffle tower. This is the first compi have been ablee to get to in a very very long time. Ihave been in paris for 4 days with Alana and Chris (From the study abroad program). Chris left his mornning for London to spend a few days there before heading home. Out of the places i have been ni can really see myselfy living in Paris, Dublin, Galway and scottland. I really want move to eurpose and just be a beach buum. Yesterday, i saw the mona Lisa, all of the Louve, the Nortradam, The Arch de Triamph, and the Picasso museum and today we r going to the underground catacombs. and tonight we r going out clubbing (Dines i've been waiting to go cuz of u!! So excited!!) and in 2 days we are going to the south of france! Alana and talked me into going to a topless beach down south! i'm a little freaked out buti figure a bottle of wiine later i'll shoud be fine. ok, i'm getting kicked off. love u all. i just got back from my trips all over ireland and scottsland. i'm so worn out! last weekend was spent in Galway and they aaryn island. the week was spent in dublin. and the weekend was spent in Scottland. i'm going to put up pics but i'm too tired to do anything but hit the sack. night night everyone. thinking of you.

Officially i am in love with ireland. When we first arrived at firtst, i just really liked it. It was exciting to be out of North America and into a world of culture. But not, i am full heartedly in love with ireland. As much ans i do enjoy living in the `us, the culture here has sucked me in. Everyone is laid back, honest, sarcastic, they all have the best humor and they done take anyone's BS. Everynight you can go down to the pubs, have beer and take part in these amazing discussions of life, love, religion, government, philosophy, anything you are thinking.
What really got me was the festival we went to on Monday. It was at Emo Court, the singal most breathtaking place i have ever seen. the land streches on forever. Everwhere you look is full lush green valleys, old forests, and in one corner there is a massive lake that was swimming with swans. Alana and i spent an hour and a half walking through the woods and taking in the scenery. It was overwhelming. The trees seemed to go up forever and touch the sky. All the sounds of the birds chirpping, the wind ruslting the leaves, all the incests and life in the forest. I went around touching everything i could. Flowers, grass, bushes, trees. Putting your open palm on tree that is hundreds of years old is like no other experience in the world. feeling the life, engery and power running through it is amazing. I found a tree that had the letters J K carved into it they looked like they had been carved decades ago. Thomas Jefferson walked the same grounds and pathways, saw the same water, smelled the same smells of the forest, Emo Court really inspired him. I love to think about all the great parties and banquets they would throw in the Mannor. I would love to have a month to just go riding and explore the land and the forest.

Last night we all went up the street to The Tack Room,a local pub, and played pool for a few hours while having a few beers. It was Ashley, Diana, Alana, Chris, Patrick and I. Afterwards we heading into town to find a goof resturant to have a bite. It was at 9:45 so most of the places were closeing up. But we found this little Intalian place that was a total hole in the wall but it would be open untill 11pm. So we popped in and had the most amazing dinner so far of the trip. We all ate by candle light, shared a bottle of white wine, and talked about our view on ethics and creation. It was so rewarding, all the people here are very insipring in their own ways. But they still all know how to have a great time. there is nothing like club and bar hopping here. You make friends with the people in one club, they go with you to the next bar, and so on an so forth. So by the end of the night, what started out as a group of 6 is now a group of 20.

Next week we are going to Dublin for the Bloomsday festival. It is going to be amazing, a group of us is planning to hop over to London stay there for a night, then possibly go over to Amsterdam. Who knows? either way it will be interesting. love you all

You would all absolutly love it here. We are two hours away from dublin and there are bed and breakfasts everywhere. Last night we all went to the local pub and had a few drinks with the locals and all the people on the trip. This morning when i woke up i had forgotten where i was then i heard horses running and playing outside my window. It is so beautiful here and it reminds me so much of Narnia. There are ButterCups and all kinds of flowers and trees and vines, and blackberrys everywhere. There are all these old stone walls coverd in moss leading pathways amoung the neighborhoods. We are already planning our trips to london and over to dublin. we have extened our travel date untill August 19th. I cant wait untill we start to country hop. i'll put up my pictures as soon and i figure out how. hope your all having a great time.

CONGRATULATIONS!

You have been approved to participate in the Study Abroad in Ireland 2005 program. Please note that this approval does not guarantee you a place in the program. Your place will be guaranteed upon payment of your program fee ($2600 USD). Below are step-by-step instructions on how to proceed from here.

1. Pay your $2600 SAI 2005 program fee at the Cashier's Office at MCC cash, check (make check payable to "Mesa Community College" with a notation at the bottom of "Study Abroad in Ireland") or credit card. Program fees must be paid no later than March 25, 2005. You may, if you wish, pay in installments. However, you can also pay in a lump sum so long as the full program fee amount is paid by 3/25/05.

2. Download, fill out, and return your scholarship application to the office of International Education (only if you plan on accepting scholarship funds).

3. Register for the class(es) you wish to take as part of your program.
a. Choose from the courses listed on the SAI website.
b. Remember, you are required to enroll in at least two classes to participate in SAI 2005. (Registration for Summer classes will not be available until March.)

4. Get your passport (if you don't already have one; no visa required for Ireland; for instructions on how to obtain a visa, see the SAI website).

5. Pay your tuition for the class(es) you registered for in step 3.

6. Attend the SAI 2005 orientation - TBA.

7. Pack your luggage!

i had a very confusing/frustrating/some what cloudy weekend. first, my oh so lovely phone decided to crap out on me, saying that i need to pay a bill. so when i go online to see how much it is and what it is, my account says i dont owe anything. hmmm. thats not agrivating. I had a Final on Thursday night, then i went and sat completly zoning while nick and i watched a movie. he left theh house i was watching, then i scared myself so bad that i couldn't fall asleep until 4:30. 3 hours later i get woken up by the contractors who had come to redo the tile floors. i tried to go back to sleep, but after an hour i just decided to read. had a production meeting at school for the play. then right after that i booked it to work. worked from 3:00 until 10:30. i love my work, but it sucks the energy right out of you. i went back to the brodly house, then down to nicks where again i just sat and zoned out. then Mark calls saying he may have to crash at the house cuz he doen't have enough money for a cab ride back to his placeand he doesn't want to Drink and Drive. i said sure, then told him i was in old town and i was heading back soon. turns out he was at the James so on my way back i swung by and picked him up. we ended up talking till 5am, then i fell asleep. woke up at 10am, to the dog barking at someone walking around the lake. did some work around the house, then went to work again. out at 10:30, called sum ppl who decided for one reason or another not to pick up their phones, then went down to nicks where we got food, beer, then watched The Last Samuri. well, i had hot chocolate cuz i was driving. Dropped my to see rj on the way back, the sleep. Wake up, slept through my alarm (oh joy) and rush to work. get there at 11 am. leave at 7pm. at this point i am so tired i could fall asleep standing up. go back to the house, the broadly's are back and my dad who was picking me up was there. it took about 5 min for me to register that they were all drunk. so we end up staying there longer to chat and catch up on things. finally get home at 8:30 ish. but i have a final tomorrow to study for, and i am watching cole tomorrow aswell. kinda bumed that i didn't get to hang out with the girls, or go to hot pink with the crazy ones. Next Weekend is def. looking up tho it's break, many parties, lots of time to sleep and see my friends. ok, going to go to bed now. G'night!

HIII everyone!!!!! how are all of you??? we just got back from Hot Pink and we are all very tipsy! bring us food bitches. the first person who reads this must bring us food. ud being jd, jess, judes, steve, jesse, and meeeee. tonight JD, marlene and i all had to predent to be girlfriends cuz this creepy guy was hitting on us. Good god ppl can be annoying

I can't wait untill tuesday! all my girls are coming back, Beth, J-La, Paigey, the whole bunch of them. i would like for all of us to go out for dinner cuz we havn't been all together since the summer. i feel like we have all drifted sum what, so i hope that spark is stitll there between all of us! i miss all of you and can't wait to see u again!

the concert last night was hands down one of the best concerts i've ever been to. It rivals with MSI as the BEST concert. The two opening bands were alright, we were outside for the majority of it waiting for The Faint. when they started jess and i were in the pit, and we go hit a couple of times cuz su ppl were being a little to crazy and what not, but it was alright. lol over half the ppl there were on drugs, either being freaked out by the lights, just swaying to the music with their eyes closed or they were getting on someone. ahhh good times.
